Guthrielicious Posted August 29, 2017 Share Posted August 29, 2017 Hey fellows. I really hope that this is an okay section to post this in. I couldn't figure out where to post this exactly. I'm running Logic Pro X and have been using my MBP earlier to compose, where I put my Kontakt sample libraries on an 1TB external hard drive because of only having a 250 GB SSD. But I just bought a new iMac today with 32 GB RAM and 3,11 TB fusion drive. So my question is: Is it better/faster to keep them stored and access them from the external hard drive (USB 3.0) or put them on my partition(ed?) drive.
