Stekspade
I have Logic Pro X 10.3.2 (the latest version). When I import a midi file, it creates dozens of tracks with it, instead of one like usual. There were more tracks than shown in the screenshot. It happens with any midi file, including those exported from Logic itself. midi bug
Jordi Torres
Hi, Looks like you're dealing with multitrack, format 1 MIDI files. Can you provide one of these files? J.
Stekspade
This thread is pretty old by now, but I figured out what causes this. It's when you have looped the midi file. Logic creates a new track for each loop (each repetition). I assumed it would discard the looping when exporting to midi.
volovicg
If you want the loops exported properly....then prior to exporting 1/ Select all regions on a single track ( which will include loops) 2/ right click - convert loops to regions 3/ press J - join regions... now you export will be fine....
