triplets
Are you using a custom template?

triplets
Are you saving to a location before you start recording?
Jordi Torres
Hi, Does it work if you try to record to a different directory or drive? Sounds like for something's messed up with the file permissions. "Locked file for writing" basically means it's a read-only file. J.
markanthonyknight
I've now saved a new session to a different drive and before I try to record. This seems to have worked. To be on the safe side though I've dumped the preferences and re-installed Logic. I can now record ok but have lost some toolbar icons and all the apple content, it's on my computer but Logic can't see it at the moment. Thanks for the help
triplets
If you haven't emptied the trash you can restore that preference file.

triplets
For next time, no need to trash the preference file, just put it on the desktop. Logic will create a new one on startup.
markanthonyknight
ok triplets thanks, any idea how to now get logic to 'see' all the content?
triplets
Is it all on the Macintosh HD, or did you move it to another drive?
