charliegilkes
Hi there I'm pretty new to logic and I'm having trouble bouncing projects to share with my friends. When making a project everything sounds fine when I play it back until I try to listen to the track from something other than monitors connected to my audio interface. When I bounce a project and play it back out of my laptop speakers it sounds muffled and some instruments can't be heard at all and when I unplug my interface and play back the audio in logic it also sounds the same. There is nothing wrong with my laptop speakers. I am using mostly software instruments in logic. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful. Atlas007
This is something normal. Depending of the sound system components used to audition, music will sound differently. Creating a master version of your mix is to aleviate same, at least partly. In order to create a good master version, you need a good mix. In both case, achieving a good mix and/or a good master, is an art to acquire through knowledge and experience. There are tons of tutorials available on the web to give you a good idea of things to be aware of. A notoriously recommendable one would be from Holger Lagerfeldt: Online Mastering.
