Saitama
Hi So I switched from an old mac to a new one, and to move my logic files over to the new computer i just downloaded them to a usb stick and transfered them that way, and for a lot of the projects that worked fine Except for the projects where i had a plugin called WOW2 by sugarbytes, for some reason every project which had that plugin quits on startup, and i no longer have the old computer so i cant disable the plugin before transfering, does anyone know a fix? fisherking
go into your hard drive, to Library>Audio>Plug-Ins>Components. drag the WOW2 AU to the desktop (or the trash). now try opening logic. check with sugarbytes, you may need to either re-install or update the plugin.. Saitama
What i can do is use an app called appzapper and use it to uninstall the plugin, would that work?

maceasy
You have two components folders, one under your username and one which is system wide. Check them both. The other is in the same path, except with your username first , then library etc. It must be in one of those, as it couldn't be anywhere else. fisherking
what maceasy said above. if it's in logic, it's in one of those folders...
