the sinner
I'm still using the old trick from Logic 9 for importing midi files. I can't figure out how to save as "Default Project" - or the project Logic References when creating a new file. I am sure it is simple and I am just missing out. Thanks. (Finding the import midi feature aligns everything to bar one regardless if it should be there or not)
the sinner
For those that don't know - the old import midi trick was dragging a midi file onto logics Application Icon in the task bar and having it autoload the proper transcription. I wan't to do this but with my sample rates, templates, screensets etc.. Anyone?

The only way I know how to reliably import a MIDI file into a template is to manually drag the file over the Tracks window to the desired bar number. Option-dragging will force Logic to not auto-load synths according to MIDI channel.
the sinner
True, but I just need the tempo track/conductor track bars and beats etc.. markers
