thegrinch Posted September 19, 2017 Share Posted September 19, 2017 Hi, I am developing a plugin using JUCE, with VST and AudioUnit Versions. I am running into an annoying thing on my laptop where an old version of my AudioUnit is being saved in some sort of cache by Logic, and crashes the auvaltool plugin validation. I have built my plugin as version 1.1.0 and have only one copy on my computer, located at /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components/myPlugin.component. When I scan for plugins however two versions show up in the plugin manager, 1.1.0, which validates, and 1.0.0 which crashes. I have tried deleting the audio unit cache off of my computer in both the user and root cache libraries. I have also tried running auval -v x x x, which I have heard can help to clear another hidden cache. How do I fix this problem? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
