Darwin Posted October 18, 2017 Share Posted October 18, 2017 I'm unsuccessfully trying to assign the two parameters of the binaural pan (Bin.Angle, Bin.Radius) to a XY Pad to better control the puck movement on the sphere. Solution Eric Cardenas Posted October 19, 2017 Solution Share Posted October 19, 2017 It may be somewhat doable but you are going to face a lot of hurdles: To have this working intendedly you'll need to access the Surround X and Y parameters instead of Angle and Radius. I don't believe those are accessible via the OSC protocol, fader events or automation. You will have to use a Logic Control surface instance to access the Surround X and Y parameter. The binaural pan is spherical while an X/Y pad is rectangular. This will lead to various values outside of the scope. All in all it's easier to just create an endless rotary controller to control the angle and a fader to control the distance/elevation.
