fiji100
I have an M-AUDIO Code61. Its keys transmit MIDI notes on MIDI channel 1 and it's 16 pads transmit MIDI notes on MIDI channel 10. I want one softsynth/software instrument in Logic to receive the MIDI notes from MIDI channel 10 and no other, and another softsynth to receive MIDI notes from MIDI channel 1 and no other. When I change the MIDI channel ofa softsynth to anything within the inspector on the left hand side (see image below), the softsynth still receives all MIDI notes from all channels. How can I set up a softsynth to only receive MIDI notes from one MIDI channel? I'm on Logic Pro 9 but hopefully someone can help anyway. Thanks. Solution Eric Cardenas Posted November 4, 2017 Solution Share Posted November 4, 2017 Choose Project Settings > Recording, and enable Auto demix by channel if multitrack recording.
