doppyjoe
Latest Logic X. Ive got a project I'm working on that was created by someone else on there system. Despite there not being anything particularly taxing in this project (I have bigger projects that work fine) The CPU is always nearly full and the project keeps overloading and my macs fan is on high speed and very hot. Anyone else experienced this and found out why? Ive tried freezing tracks and removed any plugins that may be CPU heavy but its still pretty much the same. doppyjoe
Im having the same issue with another project from the same person. So Its definitely something to do with the transfer from their mac to mine. They are on X too but not 3.2 Deleting unused plug in and tracks etc helps. But There is no more I can delete and its small project but still overloads all the time. Freezing tracks has helped too but again its not solved it. David Nahmani
Any specific plug-in(s) used only in those projects?
doppyjoe
Any specific plug-in(s) used only in those projects? Nope! Ive thought of everything and tried everything. Freezing tracks brings the CPU to about mid way or so, so I get far fewer overloads. But why its messing with the CPU is a mystery
