markalex905
This one has been BUGGING me for years - but I think I just figured it out. In SOLO mode, if I Nudge a region more than once, ALL regions get selected then Nugde as well. Happens with Nudge by Beat as well as Nudge by Bar. With SOLO off, all behaves as expected. Anyone else experiencing this?
David Nahmani
I cannot reproduce the issue you describe. Solo mode, I select one region and I can nudge it using the nudge button or the nudge key commands, only that region gets nudged.
markalex905
Thanks Dave. Using the Nudge button works as expected. With key commands, it only happens after several nudges in succession (regardless of Nudge value) Did you try a bunch of quick succession nudges using key command? I thought it was a key command conflict, but I initialized them, and problem persists.
David Nahmani
No, I still can't reproduce this even with quick successions of the Nudge key command (Option-arrow)... try it in a new account as a troubleshooting step?
markalex905
So, workaround -- this MUST be a bug, because when it happens, if I close the project and reopen, it stops happening. It tends to start acting up again after a day or two. Not sure why.

markalex905
Sometimes, I do leave it on for long time. I've read conflicting reports about this. Any good specific info?

This might be the source of your problem. I would recommend closing Logic down completely and reopening at least once a day and see if that solves the issue. markalex905
Honestly, I don't even have to quit logic. Just opening and closing the project fixes things. I'm just curious as to the source of the problem. Someone once said something like "RAM leakage". I haven't studied this much.

Yeah, I've read and experienced the same thing but not entirely sure what "RAM leakage" means specifically. I do know that most weird performance problems I have with Logic are usually solved by closing and reopening.
