esteban ferguson
Hi everyone, I just updated to 10.3 and cant seem to find instruction on how to create a new instrument that doesn't load the E-Piano with associated busses, just older posts about changing the default or not loading the library pane. Please tell me there is a way to set the default operation to just load a blank channel with no instruments, plugins, or sends with associated busses. It is way to chaotic to have random busses popping up every time i want to create a new channel strip. I believe this was the default in previous versions (I just came from 10.3 before this and 9 before that). Thanks!
Atlas007
From a given preset, have you tried to remove instances of plugins (fx, instrument, sends, etc), from the selected channelstrip, delete its Auxes, and then save the channelstrip as either a patch and/or channelstrip preset and then right clicking on it from within the library and choosing the Save as Default option? Solution David Nahmani Posted November 10, 2017 Solution Share Posted November 10, 2017 Choose Track > New Tracks, choose Software Instrument and in the Instrument menu, choose "Empty Channel Strip". Click "Create". From now on every new software instrument track you create will be empty.
