enossified
I'm working through David's Logic 10.3 book and in chapter 7 the section about creating an Apple Loop from an audio file doesn't seem to work for me. The lesson has me drop an audio file containing a drum loop into the first audio track. After a number of other steps, it instructs me to create a four bar region from that audio then drag that region to the loops browser where a menu is supposed to pop up to allow converting the audio into an Apple Loop. The menu does not pop up and Logic indicates it is trying to move the region to another audio track, not the loop browser. Has something changed in 10.3.2 that this no longer works as before? David Nahmani
Sorry to hear – however I just tried it here in 10.3.2 and it works as expected... try again?
enossified
OK got it to work. The figure in the book shows dragging into the category area which did not work. Dragging into the list area did work.

enossified
All I can tell you is I did not get the green + icon until I dragged into the list. Why that happened I really don't care about at this point, only that I was able to move forward.

Not sure why you didn't get the green + icon either, hopefully it was just a glitch.
