wjt06
I have a Seaboard Block, and I'm trying to assign it's "slide" feature to an instrument's volume in Logic. If you aren't familiar with the seaboard block, it's basically a keyboard/xy pad. I'm trying to use vertical motion (CC74) to control a volume. I can't make Logic learn my assignment because sliding up on my seaboard also plays a note. I'm just trying to enter this manually in the controller assignments window, but from what I can tell, I can't just type in CC74 s my input message. The value changes show up as some long code (for example: F0 00 21 10 77 55 00 00 00 00 20 00 00 6D F7). Is there a simple way to manually assign CC74 to a control? David Nahmani
I believe CC#74 on MIDI Channel #1 is B0 4A – try entering that manually?
wjt06
i tried entering b0 4a. I couldn't get that to work, and i tried b1, b2, b3 etc to see if the seaboard was sending it on a different channel. No luck.
