keano12
I highlighted 8 tracks and inserted 8 gain plugins and want to make the gain reduction across them all? Edited November 21, 2017 by keano12

keano12
See this: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=134040 Hey David. I changed my post a little bit maybe I wrote it wrong. I think I did. Your link mentioned creating a track to control them all? I think you were saying though to highlight them all and use the Region Inspector is that right? I noticed for midi tracks I can't do this with the Gain since it isn't in Region have to do it for each one if need be. David Nahmani
Using the Gain parameter in the Region inspector is the fastest way. The link described a way to group plug-ins across multiple channel strips... but it sounds like you no longer need to do that.

Is there a way to do same on the midi? No gain there? Thanks

Thanks No, MIDI does not have gain... you would have to either use MIDI Volume (CC#7) or adjust the gain on the audio "returns" of your synths (whatever audio channel strips receive the audio outputs from your synths). Thanks David. I’ll try that.
