eightbitrate Posted November 21, 2017 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Hi, I have 5 hardware synths connected to Logic which i load on Instrument Tracks via the External Instrument tool. I set the midi destination, the channel and the audio source. The next time i open the project those settings on the External Instrument tool are gone and i have to set that up every time. I would like to have a blank template with all my hardware connected and ready to use but losing those settings make the template pointless. any idea why that's happening? I usually turn on all my hardware first and then start Logic. I run Logic 10.2.3 on Mac Os 10.10.5 and audio interface Ensemble Apogee FW. I can't update Os because of the audio interface. Atlas007 Posted November 24, 2017 Share Posted November 24, 2017 Have you tried saving a dedicated preset in each of the External Instrument for each of the connected hardware synth, then resave your template?
