Dekkes87
All, Probably very stupid question, but I don't speak English natively, and am quite new to Logic Pro X... So, I am a solo bass player. I have an audio interface, with only one input/output, for now. I have this great loop that I recorded through a loop pedal. Now I would like to record a melody over that. I already recorded the loop, and repeated it. But now, when I want to record the melody, I would like it in a separate track, so I can separately edit it. Any ideas how to go about this? Thanks for your help!!!! David Nahmani
Choose Track > New Audio Track. On the channel strip, make sure the input is set to the input where you've plugged in the guitar on the audio interface. Record the melody on that new track.
