vmak2013
I'm using Logic Pro 10.3.2 Anybody help me how to export mono files in logic pro 10.3.2 I've also tried changing the stereo output to mono output in output channel mode, but none helped me. Please guide me.....!!! Thanks in advance
rjsounds
When you change the output on a track to mono you need to click the BNCE button on the track itself from the mixer to bounce in mono. If you use the normal hotkey or menu to bounce your project it will default to a stereo file.
vmak2013
Thanks, rjsounds But my all mono track's pan setting is centred You can see the screenshot
triplets
Did you click on the "Bounce" button on your Stereo Out? Can't use the normal key command.
vmak2013
Thanks, Triplets Your instruction really helped me...But I have too many mono and stereo tracks in my session that I wish to take stems of each mono track as mono output and stereo tracks as stereo output from logic. Is there any other way which i can do in a single bounce as stems rather than clicking bounce in each and every track.... plz guide me
triplets
The only thing you can do at the same time is File - Export - All tracks as audio files.
David Nahmani
Make sure you do NOT select "Include Volume/Pan Automation" in your Export or Bounce window so that the mono / stereo format of your audio signal is preserved.
vmak2013
Really Awesome Triplets and David... You all really saved my time. This really worked Which option I choose to "BOUNCE IN PLACE" for mono tracks to bounce in place as mono track??
David Nahmani
Which option I choose to "BOUNCE IN PLACE" for mono tracks to bounce in place as mono track?? Same: make sure "Include Volume/Pan Automation" is not selected.
vmak2013
Thanks, David But the mono track has volume automation. How to export this Sorry, I'm a new beginner in logic pro. Thanks for the support
David Nahmani
But the mono track has volume automation. How to export this Then in order to export the Volume automation in the bounced file as a mono file, you need to click the Output field on the channel strip and choose a mono output, then bounce in place. vmak2013
I think maybe this could help One way requires 2 steps: 1. Bounce in Place with Include Volume/Pan Automation checked. This produces a stereo file that includes your volume automation. 2. Make sure the channel strip is mono and Bounce in Place the stereo file you just made with Include Volume/Pan Automation unchecked. This produces a mono file. Isn't that much more complicated than what I just suggested???

David Nahmani
Thanks, Sir, I've tried your quote but I couldn't find the result Those are all mono output choices on your screenshots. For example you could choose "Output 1."
vmak2013
You are right sir, Your trick really worked, The automation in the "ORIGINAL" track automatically copies to the "BOUNCE IN PLACE TRACK" But how is that possible to export the track as Mono audio file and include the automation in that
David Nahmani
But how is that possible to export the track as Mono audio file and include the automation in that It should be exactly the same thing?
vmak2013
The automation in the ORIGINAL TRACK hasn't exported. Please check if I'm doing anything wrong. I've attached the screenshot of my steps which I do. You can see that I imported the track and renamed EXPORTED TRACK (volume automation is not exported)
Solution Eric Cardenas Posted December 12, 2017 Solution Share Posted December 12, 2017 You have to check "Include Volume/Pan automation" on your second screenshot.
