From monitor to midi region

Hi

I've created monitor objects in Click&Ports, cabled them to IAC bus drivers in the Physical Input.

In Tracks I've created External instruments.

In the Monitor object different instruments are selected. When I record when External Instrument is selected a midi region appears in the External Instruments track.

However I need the midi regions also to be recorded at the instruments itself which are selected in the Monitor object.

Please guide me in this.

Regards,

I'm not sure what you mean by "In the Monitor different instruments are selected"?

When the little triangle of the monitor is Alt-clicked multiple software instruments can be selected.

The IAC Driver (in the Physical input) is cabled to the monitor objects which have different instruments selected.

In tracks when the IAC driver is selected through an external instrument, the different instruments which are selected in the Monitor object can be played. When recording, the midi region appears in the External Instrument track.

I want the midi regions also to appear on the instrument tracks which are selected in the Monitor object. How to do this?

This is especially useful when there are instruments with articulations.

Reason for this setup is that I don't have to record enable tracks manually. With different Monitor objects available different soundsets can be organised and played on the spot.

Thx ReMiDo
