casion
This morning I received a request to deliver an alternative mix of a project for a different market. Long story short, the net result is that it's probably easier for me to re-do the mix entirely from scratch. I've done some googling and I see that Logic Pro X has no easy way to re-set the mixer. I did not 'Save As' when I first re-built the project in Logic, since I didn't expect this situation. What will be the easiest way for me to reset all faders, effects and automation? There's a lot of tracks, so I'd like to avoid doing this entirely manually if possible. Thank you!
Solution David Nahmani Posted December 16, 2017 Solution Share Posted December 16, 2017 Choose Mix > Delete Automation > Delete All Track Automation. In the Mixer, select all (Command-A) and Option-click one fader and one pan knob. With all channel strip selected, on one channel strip, remove the plug-ins from each slot. You could also try to reimport all tracks (including global tracks) and their content and i/o (but not automation or plug-ins) into a new empty project. casion
Awesome. That took about 15 seconds. Thank you very much.
