shanabit
Hey fellas, is this still an issue in Logic now? I can just use Melodyne if I have to but thought it would be nice to use what is in Logic, thanks

shanabit
Could you elaborate more about your issue? If you do any researching you will see some people complaining of audio glitches after Flex Pitching the audio like a bad crossfade or something. Im just trying to find out if this issue persists as I dont want to waste time learning Flex if you will if thats the case. thanks
Atlas007
As mentionned by Ploki, Melodyne is still better. Although Flex is no big deal to learn...
TRUN
Yes...Logic Pro X 10.3.3 flex pitch still has undesirable artifacts.....Melodyne, much cleaner......
Ploki
Melodyne also retains audio (as much as possible), while Flex Pitch rolls off highs, which can be problematic.
stephenseifert
I'm dealing with these artifacts on a recent project. Here's how to get rid of them. When you run into a glitch in the gap adjacent to your edited note, use the pencil and draw right to left to create a new flex pitch note box in the gap. Doing this seems to get rid of the artifacts.
