logicprohelpme
My question is for MIDI mapping. I used extensively the beat mapping in LP 8, and now when I upgraded to X, I face with a problem. I would like to map the beat in so that all those changes that I have done before remain fixed. However, every time I change the next following note, the previous notes are being changed as well. How to keep changes fixed for all previously mapped note? Looks like a bug. Or?
David Nahmani
every time I change the next following note, the previous notes are being changed as well. That's not the behavior I'm getting here in 10.3.3. Have you considered updating to the current version of Logic? Otherwise, can you share a screenshot? logicprohelpme
Hello. I do use 10.3.3, sorry for not updated signature. Here is the video.
Solution Eric Cardenas Posted January 17, 2018 Solution Share Posted January 17, 2018 It's that hideous bug once again. It presents itself because you have an event (sometimes even invisible) on the MIDI region before it's start. Try this: Drag the MIDI region to bar 2. Extend the region start a beat or two. Snip the region at exactly bar 2 using either by using the Scissors, Marquee or Split at playhead. Move the region back to bar 1. Hope that helps. logicprohelpme
It's that hideous bug once again. Again? I didn't know it existed. How to submit that bug to Apple? I have tried your solution. Moving, clipping and re-moving did the job! Thank you.
Eric Cardenas
You're most welcome logicprohelpme! It's awful. You can report this to Apple here: Feedback - Logic Pro – Apple
