Undo mangels position regions in arrangement

Anyone had any encounters with undo steps changing randomly the position of regions in an arrangement to different tracks. Fortunately there is always a backup but this happened a few times now. There is no command in the undo history that is related to the random shifting of region positions.

Using lots of folder stacks with nested summing stacks

Also get lots of random crashing of logic, mostly when resizing a region.

 

Any solutions apart from switching DAW?

 

Corrupt install or session, bugs, voodoo?

Hi Robert, while I've never experienced this issue myself, the fact that you mention stacks nested inside other stacks does point to a bug related to stacks, or nested stacks, and the undo function. If you can find a way to consistently reproduce the bug starting from a new empty project, then that would help the team a lot in reproducing the issue themselves and therefore solving it.

Hi David, thanks for your anwer. As far as I can tell it happens randomly… I’ll try a testproject in the near future to see if I consistently can replicate the steps.
