David Nahmani Posted January 18, 2018 Share Posted January 18, 2018 The volume of osc2 (which plays back your sample) is set to +6 dB. The voice volume is modulated by the velocity of the MIDI note that triggers the note and is set to go up to +6 dB as well. That's +12 dB. First off there's your gain fader on the channel strip. Then there's the peak level of your sample (that's unkown). Then there's the velocity of your MIDI note (that's unknown). Then there's how many notes you'r playing at the same time, which one, at what time, are they triggering certain frequencies, and which ones, in phase, or out of phase, somewhere in between..... ?
