des99
I had this very weird issue while editing an old MIDI bass part to do with pitchbend, and tracking it down: - Load the Bass -> Fingerstyle Bass instrument from factory LPX content) - Make sure the track MIDI channel is "1", to channelise to channel 1 - Play some notes, and use pitchbend. You should see (and hear) the pitch bend range is set to 2 semitones by default in this instrument - Now set the track MIDI channel to 2 (or anything >1). - Play some notes, and use pitchbend, and hear what happens. This behaviour seems to affect most of the LPX factory EXS24 instruments. I loaded some of my old EXS24 instruments that don't show the problem, and neither do older Logic content sampler instruments, they behave as expected (the pitchbend range is respected, regardless of the MIDI channel of the incoming data). Notes: LPX 10.3.3, El Cap
Solution Eric Cardenas Posted February 10, 2018 Solution Share Posted February 10, 2018 Set MIDI Mono Mode to OFF. Or Mono mode Pitch range to 2.
des99
Thanks - the EX24 extended parameters is about the only place it didn't occur to me to look to find a parameter that might affect this..!
