TimeForMusic Posted February 17, 2018 Share Posted February 17, 2018 I've noticed that Cubase's multipressor has more punch to it, and I think it has to do with the automatic make-up gain. David Nahmani Posted February 18, 2018 Share Posted February 18, 2018 Automatic make up gain means only that the output gain of the compressor is automatically adjusted to compensate for the gain reduction the compressor adjusts. You can emulate that simply by raising the gain (manually) at the output of your compressor.
