jamesali
So i've been using logic pro x for over two years now and haven't had a problem like this before. When I try to use any MID controller logic will only respond sometimes, the problem is hard to put into words but essentially when playing an individual key it doesn't work but if i press two at the same time one of the two keys being pressed will be processed. The issue is definitely on logic as i tried using different keyboard controllers and got the same result, however when i used a different DAW the keyboard worked fine. I have tried changing certain MIDI setting (as suggested in related topics on this site) but still no luck. Please help if you can. Solution blinkofani Posted February 19, 2018 Solution Share Posted February 19, 2018 You might have assigned key command or some midi control to those keys. If so, they won't play anymore as they're "reserved" for those assignments. Blink
David Nahmani
To check for what Blink is saying, choose Logic Pro X > Control Surfaces > Bypass All Control Surfaces and see if the issue disappears. If it does, then Blink was right and you can either stay in bypass or hunt down the assignment and delete it from your Controller Assignments.
