Plutokat Posted February 19, 2018 Share Posted February 19, 2018 I'm running Logic Pro X and have 5 instances of East West PLAY open with orchestral samples. When I do this the latency goes very bad, even though the EW channels are muted and not being used. I have to constantly use the Low Latency button to be able to play to it. Anyone have any ideas? Solution skijumptoes Posted February 19, 2018 Solution Share Posted February 19, 2018 Have you got any other kinds of plugins running on those tracks, busses or the master/stereo out? If you've got any kind of mastering setup on the final output then that will cause this issue. You can hover over the plugins in Logic and it shows you the latency of each, but i don't think Logic had this feature until version 10.3.1 onwards. If the latency goes with Low Latency Mode then check what's being disabled when you enable it (The plugins will be greyed out from memory), check all busses and most importantly the stereo out channels as this could be most likely if you've picked some kind of mastering preset.
