drakepeterdrake
Sometimes when I insert a plugin into a bus or summing stack as opposed to a single channel, it is grey-ed out and cannot be activated. I have tried deleting the summing stack and making a new one and get the same results. In the screenshot, the left-hand eq in sum 6 bus 3 is greyed-out, while the right hand one, in a channel, is fine. Why is this? Thanks. David Nahmani
The greyed out one is turned off, the other one is on. Maybe you're running out of UAD instances on your DSP?
drakepeterdrake
There's plenty left on the UAD card it's at 73%. When the UAD plugins are "off", they blue power button on the upper-left is grey, not blue. In this instance the entire plugin face is darker, even though the power button shows blue. It only does this on busses, not individual tracks.
drakepeterdrake
I made a new program, imported all tracks, etc., eliminated the bus in question, re-made the track stack, and now plugins can be inserted properly.
