Eric Cardenas
I can not confirm this behavior. Why do you have an asterix (*) before the plug-in name?
jimdilian
I can not confirm this behavior. Why do you have an asterix (*) before the plug-in name? mmm strange - maybe I will restart my computer to see if still happens, I rename it because I use it a lot, and put it in the top level., so when I click "S" to search for my Custom Plugins folder it doesn't selects "stereo delay" but the first Folder with "S"
David Nahmani
I can't reproduce this issue here either. I would suggest you try quitting Logic and trashing your .cs preferences where those assignments are saved? Doing that, unfortunately, you'll lose all assignments you may have on your system. Eric Cardenas
He is not assigning anything so the control surfaces pref file is untouched. I would just get rid of the asterix and use a dash or something else.
David Nahmani
He is not assigning anything so the control surfaces pref file is untouched. Good point, my mistake.

Eric Cardenas
It's definitely sounds like a bug, but related to renaming plug-ins. Can you confirm the same on other plug-ins too?
fisherking
can you use a number instead of a symbol? (just curious, am not at my work mac...)
David Nahmani
can you use a number instead of a symbol? (just curious, am not at my work mac...) Or a space, or the letter A?
jimdilian
space crashes --- a letter A does not but if I click undo it crashes logic_ so.. there something strange here. and I have repair my imac mid 2011 permissions and disk too before testing again.
