L Hall
I just upgraded to Logic 10.4.0. In the score view, I've always used a key command to select a group of notes and place a tie. Logic always placed them in the appropriate place by default, automatically adjusting the tie for the placement of the notes. Now, when I place an "above" tie, it defaults as at the bottom of the stave. An "under" tie defaults at the top of the stave. How do I get the tie placement to go back to it's older behavior? This bug will be very time-costly when doing a large score.
Eric Cardenas
It's a known bug. We'll have to wait for a fix from the apples.

inheritsfrom
Sorry, a newbie question here. I have not been able to create a tie, whether across a bar line, or within a bar. I'm trying to tie two notes of same pitch. What is the key combination / method for this? Thanks.
volovicg
To create ties you insert user rests.... So if you want two quarter notes tied together - glue them or create a half note then drop a user rest in between those notes ( rhythmically) and it will create a tie...
