rickenbacker360
I'm sure I'm doing some setting wrong. On a vocal track, I have a recorded vocal in place before the section/region I'm about to record. I have things set for a 2-bar countdown where I get to hear what been recorded so far. I hear all the tracks except the track I'm about to record (I cannot hear the already-recorded vocal) as the transport plays those two bars. I do hear the live microphone but not the existing recorded material. This make it hard to automatically "punch in" properly. FTR, I have tried three different iterations of settings in the mixer for the live tract. I = On; R = Off I = On; R = On I = Off; R = Off All while live track is selected in mixer Recording pref settings are for 2-bars, not pre-roll. What I want, if you can help. On LV track, hear source material already recorded for two previous bars and automatically begin recording new region after that. Thanks. pistol-pete-lopez
VERY OLD BUG ,disable Cycle, use "punch in" and place the play head a tick or division before left locator (selected punch-in area).
triplets
You have to use Autopunch. Enable it and then paint the red cycle bar for the punch area on the main window ruler.
kerochan
Rickenbacker hi This is not a bug, its the way it is. All you need to do is use AUTOPUNCH, as triplets stated.
