rentax
Hey guys, hope you all are doing fine. Well, I switched from Cubase to LPX and I have some Hardware Synths. I can't get my Adat Inputs right, so I have no Audio from them. My Setup: iMac 5k 2017 macOS High Sierra 10.13.3 Logic Pro X 10.4.0 Universal Audio Apollo Twin MKII Behringer ADA8200 (Adat Interface) I already watched a video a guy explaining how to route everything. So I routed everything at "mixing -> I/O lables. Creating an audio track and selecting the right labled input and yea... still no sound. Hope you guys can help me. Greetings! David Nahmani
How many inputs do you see when you click the input slot of a mono channel strip in Logic?
rentax
22 inputs
David Nahmani
Hmmm so I'm not sure what those 22 inputs are for exactly on the Twin MkII, have you tried other input numbers? You could create channel strips for ALL available inputs, R-enable all and start playing your synths, see which channels show signal (if any). Is ADAT selected as the digital input in the UA Console? rentax
The signal flow is okay. It is working in Cubase. s ADAT selected as the digital input in the UA Console? <- Yes Here is the Routing: https://imgur.com/a/SSBAC
David Nahmani
Have you tried actually recording some audio in Logic?
rentax
Well, I just found the problem......... I did the following: I created an instrument Track which contains a Controller VST for the Roland JP-8080 Synth. I played in some midi notes from my keyboard and I expected to monitor some Audio out of the Audio Chanel. No sound tho, but when I SELECT the Audio Chanel and let a midi event play my Synth, I get sound. So I only can hear audio from the Audio Track (when Input Monitoring is active) when I select the Audio Track? Is there any setting to change that? Greetings and thank you for your help!!!! Solution David Nahmani Posted February 23, 2018 Solution Share Posted February 23, 2018 Choose Logic Pro X > Preferences > Audio, click the "General" tab and deselect "Input monitoring only for focused track..."
