timbertune
Has anyone seen this problem? I'm trying to edit modulation wheel automation on a MIDI track, using "Show Automation" in the piano-roll editor. I highlight "Modulation" from the Automation/MIDI display window, but after a bar or two, the display automatically switches to a different parameter (in this case Expression). I even made sure to delete all Expression data (which does nothing to this particular VI). Then I reset the display to Modulation. But every single time I hit play, Logic 10.4 switches back to displaying the (empty) Expression parameter. Any idea what's going on here, and how to keep it displaying the parameter I've selected instead of 'auto updating' to some other nonsensical thing? Solution Eric Cardenas Posted February 23, 2018 Solution Share Posted February 23, 2018 Choose Mix > Autoselect Automation Parameter in Read Mode, to deselect this new feature.
timbertune
HOORAY! That worked. THANK YOU. Not sure I'd count this as a 'feature'.. More like a giant robo-pain in the midi-butt. Thanks so much for your quick help!
