varol Posted May 8, 2018 Share Posted May 8, 2018 Hi just upgraded to high sierra and installed logic 10.4.1 and downloaded the complete sound library but Orchestral/Strings/Smart Strings. I clicked the arrow near the patch, and Download Updated sounds, and tried to install from sound library manager. It downloads asks for my permisson with password and installs it but it doesn't show up. It's really annoying to see new sounds notification everytime I open the logic. https://imgur.com/a/y3JGeZi Anybody know what's wrong? Eric Cardenas Posted May 8, 2018 Share Posted May 8, 2018 I saw that too here on my systems. Probably a glitch from Apple ad it appears to work fine here today but didn't yesterday. varol Posted May 8, 2018 Author Share Posted May 8, 2018 Nope I tried (even wrote in the first post) but some of the "uninstallable" packs rectified with it, but smart strings remains problematic. Assessor Posted May 12, 2018 Share Posted May 12, 2018 I searched for Smart strings and they were not on my system 2 days ago. Yesterday I got a pop up telling me to update sound library.
