omar17166
Has anyone noticed this: when you double click a midi region in the main window a little piano roll at the bottom of the screen opens. When you double click again it disappears and you're back to a full main window. However, if you switch off the chain-link (the little yellow chain-link is off), then you still get the piano roll at the bottom when you double click, but now you cannot get rid of it by double clicking again. Is this OK?
Jordi Torres
Hi, Hard to say if this was an conscious decision or a bug. As far as I know only the bit about opening the Piano Roll when double-clicking is officially implemented (available as a preference) . Just checked and the behavior is the same in version 10.0.7. If it's important to your work flow, to quickly open and close the Piano Roll regardless of the state of Content Link in the Piano Roll, just hit the P key. J. omar17166
Thanks for the quick response Jordi. It's not that important actually. I just wondered whether there was a catch for why the bahaviour should change. I'll do the P key instead. I haven't been using that before. Thanks again!
