oxband
I'm working on a podcast. I have a bunch of audio tracks. i want to apply the same filters to all of them (some izotope filters, EQ, limiter). How can I do that? I feel like this is very simple and I'm missing something. Thanks!
Atlas007
Have you tried inserting the desired audio Fx plugins on the Output channel strip? Although you might find more useful to control each tracks fx balance by using Sends...
David Nahmani
Open the Mixer, select all the channel strips and insert a plug-in on one of the selected channel strips.
johnnytucats
Is there a way to do this if I want to copy (option-drag) a plugin from one channel strip to multiple others?
David Nahmani
Is there a way to do this if I want to copy (option-drag) a plugin from one channel strip to multiple others? You'll have to either insert the plug-in once on multiple selected channel strips, or option-drag the plug-in multiple time on all channel strips,
johnnytucats
I was afraid of that. Thanks for confirming.

captaineo
Hi David, you answered my question here. Off-topic, but do I need to learn Pro Tools as a singer/songwriter if I'm much more drawn to LPX's UI? My goal is to mix and master professional level iTunes ready songs, and soundtracks for my films. This may be a rookie question, but I've found LPX a lot more user friendly in terms of mixing and recording at the same time. Industry folks love to tout PT. Also, do you know any good resources for Logic templates and free designer plugins? I'm in the early stages of my music career. If there's a course you recommend, please feel free to share it as well. Thank you.
David Nahmani
Industry folks love to tout PT. Is that the only reason you want to learn it? If it is, I recommend you pass, and spend the time honing your craft doing everything in Logic instead. I find that you become much more proficient when doing everything in a single software (whichever it is) than juggling between two different ones. Atlas007
...Also, do you know any good resources for Logic templates and free designer plugins? Googling for free plugins would reveal a myriad of same. Keep in mind that you should look for AudioUnits only, since Logic doesn't take any other format (yet). I'm in the early stages of my music career. If there's a course you recommend, please feel free to share it as well. Thank you.David is the author of a notoriously excellent book and also occasionally hosts seminars...
