KeithJames
I have watched two videos and read a few blogs and nothing is helping me to simply toggle back to normal solid yellow cycle range. My cycle range bar is in jump mode, I didn't know about it so I don't know how I got it in that mode, but nothing I have read is helping me. I read holding option with C changes it to jump mode. If it does, it DOES NOT change it back to normal mode. Please someone help me resolve this ridiculously frustrating situation. I know it is simple, but I can not find the way to toggle it. Thanks. I'm in Logic Pro X.
Solution Eric Cardenas Posted December 19, 2018 Solution Share Posted December 19, 2018 Try a Command - click on the cycle range in the ruler. Or you can customize a key command for "Swap Left and Right Locators".
KeithJames
Thank you Eric. I TIRED command click a number of times but for some reason I now realize I was actually doing command and "C". Brain was frustrated and stuck. Thanks again... luckyal
I just noticed that the official Logic documentation regarding Skip Cycle is wrong. It states: "Hold down the Option key while selecting a cycle area in the ruler." https://support.apple.com/kb/PH13441?locale=en_US
KeithJames
umm...maybe that's why I had trouble with it. Since this post I accidently toggled it into the wrong function. Had to come BACK to this post to figure it out again!
