Yesss. While it took him five and a half minutes to get to the relevant 15 seconds, this indeed is great. Thanks.

 

That's what I cannot stand about the video as a communication medium.

 

I agree, too often the price to pay for free tuition is the time spent to bear either the tutor’s ego advertisement and/or the contextual endless digressions…

Oh, well, I guess nothing is free after all… :roll:

I gave it a try and it seems to work well. I made a little animated GIF to demonstrate what I did.

I created two audio tracks

Put each one in its own summing stack track

Put the two summing stack tracks in a folder

In the mixer I routed the output of the two summing track stacks to a BUS . An AUX channel is automatically created.

I created a track from this AUX channel. This automatically (and magically) created, outside the folder, a summing stack track which contains the second summing stack track!

In the tracks area I’m now able to drag the Sum 1 Summing Stack Track out of the folder into  this AUX Summing Stack Track! This indeed creates a Summing Track Stack into a Summing Track Stack!

Finally I deleted the empty folder track.
