Adding Icons to Logic's icon folders

I know I can add icons to the Custom Icons folder, but is it possible to add more String icons into the factory "Strings" icon folder?

ha! I came back and I'm still looking for an answer!

Buehler? David? Can I create folders of icons or does everything just get tossed into the Custom folders area?

Think I sorted it unless I'm missing something. You can't add folders to the Custom Icons folder or any of the factory folders.

Have you looked here

Go into the Applications folder and find Logic Pro.

Control-click Logic Pro to bring up a menu, and select 'Show Package Contents'.

Go to Contents / Resources / Images / Icons, and you'll see all the existing icons neatly numbered.

isn't that the old way the icons used to be? Now you can just drag and drop or you can use the + sign in the custom icons folder. But I've confirmed, you can't add folders for better organization. Custom Icons are located in User/Music/Audio Music Apps/Custom Icons

I'm having the same issue - I can't find a path to the stored icons.

 

If I follow the path through Applications>LOGIC>Package Contents>

This is what I get - and there is no access to LOGIC icons.

 

 

The only way I can edit is in: MAC HD>User>Me>Music>Audio Music Apps>Custom Icons.

The stock track icons are located here I believe. They are not grouped and therefore i am not aware of a way to add icons to the individual sections such as strings, winds, other, etc.
