tyrebo Posted June 21, 2019 Share Posted June 21, 2019 SInce the 10.4.5 update I can't command pointer click in the piano roll and make a new note as before. Probably a pref or setting somewhere I can't find that the update decided to change on me, sorry for the basic basic question... Control click brings up a menu that includes that option but it's an extra step, not as quick and intuitive. Thanks for any advice EDIT- my apologies, it's probably not related to the update. I opened some older projects and the function works as before. There must be some setting wrong in this newer project. I'll look around, but if anyone knows what it is I'd be grateful.. OK, I'll leave this up, even though I look a fool, just in case someone else runs into this. Secondary tool needs to be set to pencil, all this time it's been that way without me realizing it, for some reason this project it was set differently.. silly me..
