itssofly
Is there someone on NAMM 2020 today? And know when Apple gives a demonstration?
des99
Apple aren't exhibiting at NAMM, I don't know what you're expecting... *If* they release something Logic-related to co-incide with NAMM, then the world will know about it within minutes of when it happens. itssofly
Then I had too much expectation again. I had hoped that today 10.5 will be released. But you know you should never hope with Apple. I didn't know Apple wouldn't be on NAMM.
des99
I find it's best not to worry or think too much about it until it happens...
fisherking
I find it's best not to worry or think too much about it until it happens... agreed. apple does what it does, when it does it. meanwhile, am having much fun in 10.4.8. then, when apple brings 10.5 to the table, will be great to explore the new options/bugs/etc.
robinloops
I’m finally stable... not looking forward to the temptation of a .5 update.

GrabtharsHammer
Perhaps in a couple of months... we‘ll see 10.4.9 first. Or even 10.4.8.2?! Everyone was expecting 10.5 to drop at last year‘s Winter NAMM... then at WWDC... then at Summer NAMM... then when the Mac Pro was announced... then when the Mac Pro was released... nothing happened. To be honest, I am disappointed, that after the lack of a major update last year, they skipped the „day before / first day of NAMM“ date again. blinkofani
Last time there’s been a long delay between 2 major releases is when they went from 9.1.8 to X. It might be the reason, don’t know, just exploring possibilities. Blink
fisherking
i love new; (am on the OS betas, and update logic day of new releases), but.. why all the frustration? can't we make music now? am excited about LX 10.5, but am not holding my breath, waiting for it. i'm working, and enjoying all the things i can do in LX 10.4.x. it makes me laugh. we crave 'new', and then, when it comes, we complain about what's changed. it's a pattern (i see it on mac os forums every year). anyway, just saying: we can use what we've got, and make music. and, when 10.5 finally hits, we'll be more-than-ready, to dive in... or dismiss it. Dox
With you fisherking. I love 10.4.8 and feel no need for anything more. But would like some improvements to Logic Remote though such as being able to see the tracks and not worrying that the Chord Strips will get 'stuck'!
