aviorrok
Hi, I try to make my piano only on sides, I know L+R = Mid and L-R = Sides, So here's what a I did. It's sound weird for me, did I do something wrong?
Atlas007
Have you tried with the Direction Mixer?
triplets
Piano is a stereo instrument, so using phase manipulation is gonna make it sound unnatural. I would pan according to left and right hand.
fisherking
set the exs to mono. open logic's Sample Delay plugin, set one side to zero, the other to a value (for example, 303 samples). voilá! stereo piano...
David Nahmani
It's sound weird for me, did I do something wrong? You've routed -L+R on the left and +L-R on the right, which means you have L=-R, that's perfectly out of phase. Notice your correlation meter completely in the red. If you summed this to mono you'd get -L+R+L-R=0, silence. When one speaker membrane pushes the other pulls. If you listened to this on headphones, when one of your eardrums goes out, the other goes in.
