the sinner
IMPORTING: I use the drag and drop method for importing midi files into logic (this was standard since perhaps 7?) Pretty much you drag the .midi file onto your dock and logic opens it up. I am wondering if importing midi files into logic can be done in a more refined way in 2020? 1) I am looking for logic to not at Piano Plugin Instances on Every Track 2) I am looking for logic to not to change the sample rate from my autoload 3) I am looking for Logic To Name The Tracks With Information it finds in the Regions EXPORTING something has changed from versions past... Traditional Steps would be to "Join Regions Per Track" and Make Sure Your Regions Are Named Properly (or Name Regions Per Track) But now I find Logic behaves queerly with any type of information around bar 1. Somehow I just did an export and Logic moved all my information three bars to the left. I'm not sure what is going on at this point. Here is the source logic file a moment before export: Note The Region Cineharp at Bar 6 Source File And here is the resulting Midi File Per Import: Imported File from Midi Also, even more strangely, I notice that at one point logic has imported two regions to one track (on the resulting midi file) whereas the original has only one region per track.
