jeffloven
how can i hide the crapload of midi channels that I have in Mixer--they are not in track view. I think they are separate pieces of a loop I converted to midi--a bunch of percussion things but only a few of them are playing. Thanks for any help

jeffloven
okay-the "aux" tab made the green tab channels go away but I'm not wanting to lose all of my aux channels. This is an old project and I'm not even sure what all of those extra channels that are not being used are from. Checking for a virtual instrument and also hidden tracks--the offending channels in the mixer view do not appear to actually be playing anything
Eriksimon
You can simply delete the unused channels.
robinloops
Press the ‘h’ (default key command to hide/unhide tracks). A green button with appear on each track, that when selected makes the track a hidden track. Then press H again and any tracks that you enabled the green h for, will disappear. Still part of project just not visible in the arrange view (and mixer depending on your mixer view settings).
David Nahmani
If you don't need those instruments at all I would: 1) Choose Window > Open MIDI Environment, 2) Go to the MIDI Instr. layer and select the Multi-instrument. 3) Press delete. 4) Save your project.
