Export Alternative as Project Question

Hi all,

 

Maybe I'm missing something here but I'm wondering how to do this a certain way. When I choose this option it copies all media associated with the entire project, correct? What do I do if I only want it to copy the media used in this alternative? I would have thought this is how most people would want it to work???

 

At present I've been letting it copy all the media, which can take a while, and then doing the clean-up process in the new project to delete most of the stuff logic just copied for me.

 

Any thoughts?

All the files in the project bin are part of a project even when they aren’t associated with regions so they will export as part of that alternative. I export alternative To a new project and then go into the file browser and delete all unused audio files.

Thanks Robin. ! That's my understanding too. But if it's a larger project can take 10 minutes to copy those files when exporting alt to new project, only to go and delete most of them again. Looking for a better way to do this, anyone any ideas?

Copy the project folder manually in Mac finder. A bit faster than logic copying it and exporting all the files. Then open the copy and delete other alternatives and then delete the extra files from the new copy.
