Back in 2015 I played a logarithmic sine wave through a hardware LA2A, and software CLA2A and Logic Compressor to see what the circuitry of each did to the audio. I watched and listened to the results through Logic's EQ and noticed that the Logic Compressor makes some weird noises at the top of the spectrum. The test was a while ago, but I just heard an aliasing demonstration on a podcast and recognised the sound! Why would Logic Compressor display aliasing?
