djsnake
Hi everyone. How are you ? I hope you doing fine. I need to create a guitar sound like this one. Which Plugin / AU, Kontakt Library or Preset you can suggest me ? Any help would be appreciated. Much Love
skijumptoes
Scarbee is pretty good, but i don't know if it does single string (notes), because this track you've linked to has a mix of single notes and funky/country style chords so you need to ensure that you have both elements covered. There's some audio demos here:- https://scarbee.com/collections/guitar For a plugin i've always found it impressive. If this is a serious project you may be better served to use a service like Fiverr to get someone to record a loop to your requirements - would only cost like $10, and you can chop/cut it as you require. In comparison to investing into a plugin it's a far more affordable option too. https://www.fiverr.com/categories/music-audio/session-musicians?source=gallery-listing&page=1&ref=instrument%3Aguitar The more nuance elements that you get from a real guitarist would provide a better end result... But of course, less flexible than going the virtual instrument route which you can sink back into time and time again. There's also the looperman (Free samples) route where you could take a passage you like and process to fit your requirements via pitch/time adjustments. Or just build a track around the key sample where it's cut/chopped to the vibe that you want. https://www.looperman.com/loops/cats/royalty-free-electric-guitar-loops-samples-sounds-wavs-download
djsnake
Thank you, sir. I'm gonna try them. You helped a lot
Eriksimon
Oeh, I like that hook, not so much the adolescent fantasy though. Anyway, for the chords I would use Rob Papens RG, and for the lick I just made this, my very first YouTube tutorial.
David Nahmani
Wow cook tutorial Erik! That's pretty close!! A bit of EQ to make it slightly more 'nasal' sounding and you're there. Also I would play with the tuning a bit, perhaps slight amounts of pitch bend? It sounds to me like in the original, the Bb note is a bit sharp. fuzzfilth
My guess is that it's a Dobro style guitar, the ones with the mechanical loudspeaker built in which makes that distinct lo-fi, nasal and boxy sound. And I'd say it's really just a two bar loop (like, why bother with more, right ?)
