jnchristp
Hej, I just noticed that all newly inserted plugins open out of the screen-area. That didn't happen in 10.4.8. There all plugins opened near the top left corner of the screen. Now everything is moved to the middle. If it's a big pluginwindow, part of the window is outside my screenarea. Anyone noticed this as well? Is there a way to tell Logic where to open newly added plugins by default? Greetings Jan
fisherking
happening here as well. i have a 21" imac, with the resolution at 4096 x 2304. changing to default did not fix it. for me, too, with my default templates, plugins used to open where i'd set them. anyone else? am tempted to delete logic prefs, but..... fisherking
Right. Just annoying. agreed. i had all my plugins (in my main templates) set to open centered, and without the top bar. anyway, wondering what we have in common, if not everyone has this issue... would be great to figure it out. otherwise.... apple... steveLpx1
...same troubles here, started with 10.5...and how did you do that? " i had all my plugins (in my main templates) set to open centered, and without the top bar."

steveLpx1
...mmmmmm...I guess, lucky you! I've never gotten that to work, at least the top bar part, and now nothing works. And I've never ever gotten "zoom" or "catch" to consistently do what I want or expect...(sigh).../s~
fisherking
you saved those settings (top bar removed) in a template? & it never came back that way? did you try locking the screenset? def worked for me, for years. and zoom? works here (with the 'z' key)...
