scantronics
Hello All, I bought a Nocturn and installed Automap without a hitch. My issue is that Automap is only allowing control of the mixer - I can adjust challnel volume, sends, pan etc but when I select an instrument, like ES M, automap doesn't see it - any ideas? - am I missing something simple? Many thanks
des99
You can't Automap Logic's instruments. Automap creates new "wrapped" versions of plugins which is how Automap works. Logic's "plugins" aren't actually plugins, they just behave like them. You can only use Automap on third-party plugins.
scantronics
that's strange - what about this from our good friend Eli: https://youtu.be/ikRWIkWfrwo. @4:
redgreenblue
This is not 100% accurate, with an SL keyboard Automap can control Logic's plugins, but as far as I can the the Nocturn only allows mixer control. The point is moot anyway, there is about a 0% chance that Automap would ever be 64bit compatible, so 10.14 is the last OS we will be able to use it with.
